Storytelling and Campaigns Lead - Letmebreathe

Letmebreathe.in India’s largest storytelling platform on climate change, sustainability and pollution, is looking for an experienced Storytelling and Campaigns Lead to join our team.

The role demands exceptional writing, editing, and organisation skills, and an ability to build relationships and campaigns with contributors, partners, experts, and governing bodies. It includes both strategy and execution, this person should be able to think high-level but also be willing to get in the weeds and get things done.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to motivate environment creators, experience using data to inform content strategy, and a genuine interest in driving — change, sustainability and climate action! uccess in this role will be measured by audience and contributor growth, quality of stories (both UGC and own), impact of campaigns and brand recall created.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create, commission and conceptualise content (both videos and articles) that cover the climate emergency, air pollution, sustainability advancements and the environment
  • Identify trending stories, content ideas that are of interest to our audiences across different platforms and categories
  • Build storytelling campaigns that lead to short term and long term impact
  • Engage new creators and communities to contribute to letmebreathe.in
  • Work with our existing creator network to produce and publish stories that generate impact
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and systems for contributor management and guide them through the process with the right skills & feedback
  • Support packaging and distribution of content across social channels.
  • Be the first point of contact for letmebreathe.in users and partners and enable great storytelling and relationship development
  • Act as a 'Super-User’ of our platform and suggest improvements to processes where appropriate.

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • A collaborative working style and 2-3 of years of experience
  • A journalistic background. Brownie points if you have non-profit or campaign building experience.
  • A people’s person with an eye to identify a great story and engage the creators to produce it.
  • Have knowledge of SEO for content websites and how to implement it best for each of the pieces.
  • To bring creativity to planning how letmebreathe.in covers key climate change and sustainability issues across different digital platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat.
  • The ability to research and quickly build an understanding of the climate and sustainability coverage needed and developing relationships with contributors to source the same.
  • Strong understanding of scripting for a digital audience and elementary video production skills will be a bonus.
  • A deep commitment to our mission of amplifying individual voices and bridging the gap between people, corporations, decision makers to induce change.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced digital environment.
