Senior Consultant: Project and Campaigns Manager-Social Media and Digital Narratives


Combines social media management and marketing skills to build campaigns that drive and enhance people powered digital narratives on Air Quality, Adolescence SRH and Girl Capital for children and young adults. 

We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to manage Digital and PR agencies and express the campaigns views creatively.

We expect you to work closely with all partners and leverage digital insights + user generated content to create a powerful online collective by building innovative social media campaigns that prioritise issues of Girl Capital, Adolescence SRH and Air Quality for children and young adults.


  • To develop, implement and evaluate digital and media campaigns in line with defined programme objectives (Outline in the Job Summary), by working closely with external partners such as digital and public relations agencies, insights and analytics firms, etc.
  • Work with partners to identify online trends and use these insights to develop and oversee social media campaigns being implemented by partners.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication metrics and ability to set and measure campaign KPIs and optimise performance to maximise ROI.
  • Ability to evaluate campaign success using a range of tools including Google Analytics, media tracking etc.
  • Experience in managing agencies, including briefing, concept, finalising creative, despatch and optimisation processes.
  • Ability to understand and apply audience and marketing insights, with the support of the research and insights team.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Understand youth behaviours and social media platform use to develop campaigns that prioritise their issues.

  • Strong liaison, influence and negotiation skills, including the ability to work within and across internal teams, as well as with external stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ability to effectively work with colleagues in other teams across to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate campaigns.
  • Effectively and appropriately manage upwards to achieve buy-in and support from senior team members.
  • Ability to identify and solve project-oriented problems, ensuring successful campaign delivery.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication style appropriately for the target audience.
  • Experience writing media and creative briefs and reports.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including chairing meetings and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.


  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • A minimum of five (5) years of work experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or relevant field
